Massage 101
Before your session:
- Drink plenty of water
- Have a light snack
- Shut off your cell phone
- Arrive a little early and take a hot shower, hot tub, or steam to help loosen your muscles
Share with your Therapist:
- Any illness you have experienced in the recent past
- The amount of pressure you are comfortable with, light work, moderate or deep tissue
- Any requests for special techniques your therapist may specialize in
- Any area you would like specific attention paid to
- If you require a blanket in addition to the sheet used for keeping you covered and comfortable
Comfort and courtesy:
- You may disrobe to your comfort level, some clients choose to bring light flexible clothing to wear for their session
- The massage waiting area is not soundproof to the rooms, please keep a low voice and conversation to a minimum
- If you choose to workout before your session, please shower before your scheduled massage time
